Seeking Homeowners Who Are Interested in Running for a Board Position
The date of the Annual Nisqually Estates Homeowners Association (HOA) Meeting is set for Saturday, November 14th, 2026. It will be a physical location TBD. Your attendance is important. We will vote to elect a new HOA Board of Directors and discuss issues that affect the neighborhood. There will be multiple vacancies for the year 2026/2027 that need to be filled. Please get your nominations turned in by 10-1-26 to be sure they are added to the ballot. Please email nominations to HOA@nisquallymeadowshoa.com or drop off written notice to Melissa Worthington, April Newman, Valerie Vajda, Sierra Thornberry, or Michael Davenport at:
Melissa 10416 Brighton, April 10405 Brighton, Sierra 10410 Brighton
Valerie 10403 Red Fern, Michael 15020 105th
Without homeowner volunteers we will have to look for an outside management company which would significantly increase our dues.
In accordance with the By-laws, there will be five (5) HOA Board positions open for voting, each with a term running until the next annual meeting. Homeowners do not run for a specific position. They are first elected to the Board in general (the top 5 vote-getters are elected), then position assignments are decided by consensus among those elected, based on what each individual is best suited to fill.In accordance with the CC&R, there are three (3) HOA Architectural Control Community positions. They are elected to the community by the Board in the executive meeting.
If you are a homeowner in good standing and would like to have your name, put on the preliminary ballots that are being sent out in mid-October, or would like to be considered for the ACC community please send an email to hoa@nisquallymeadowshoa.com or contact a current Board member no later than Thursday, October 1st, 2026.
We must have either an email or something in writing if you wish to be placed on the ballot ahead of time. Qualified homeowners can still be nominated and voted on at the meeting even if they are not on the preliminary ballot, but they must be physically present at the meeting.
