Facebook Group Rules

We have removed the Approval of post and added a new rule about it. See list of rules below.

The official HOA Facebook Group Page Rules of Engagement:

1. Being part of this group requires mutual trust. Authentic, expressive discussions make groups great, but may also be sensitive and private. What's shared in the group should stay in the group. Think before you post! Respect the privacy of others!


2. All opinions will be treated with mutual respect, unless they violate the aforementioned rules. Treat your fellow Facebook group members with that same respect.


3. Make sure everyone feels safe. Bullying of any kind isn't allowed, Profanities, cursing and degrading post or comments about things like race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender or identity will not be tolerated.


4. Anyone blowing up comments or asking for Board Action during a crisis will be muted and/or removed depending on the severity of the offense. We have a no-tolerance policy and take this seriously. The Board of Directors is a volunteer board and as such is not available during regular business hours due to working during those hours. Anyone contacting a Board Member at their place of business will be removed from the Facebook page without ceremony. There will be no exceptions to this rule.


5. Do not post graphic or disturbing photos, videos and other media in this group


6. Give more than you take in this group. Self-promotion, spam and irrelevant links aren't allowed. Do not advertise your business on this group. We have a separate page for that: Nisqually Meadows Buy/Sell/Trade https://www.facebook.com/groups/1018227414948039/


7. The Facebook group admin(s) is/are entitled to deny entry to any member they choose. They are also allowed to boot out members that don’t comply with the house rules. Group membership is a privilege not a right.


8. If a member personally attacks another member with words that are harmful, threatening or not in-line with our mutual respect policy, that member could be removed or receive a warning. If you are removed contact an Admin to discuss your reentry into the group


9. If someone mentions you by name please respond directly to that person on the same post. If the comment is inflammatory please report it to the group admin. It will be removed along with the users until they contact admin to discuss reentry.


10. If you block admins you will be deleted from the group.


11.Only people that own a home, rent a home or live within Nisqually Meadows Estates will be allowed on the Facebook HOA Group. If you see someone that doesn’t belong please let the admins know so we can remove them.
