Street Tree Agreement

The city owns all Street trees because they are located on public property within the street right of way. The agreement between the HOA and City is the HOA is responsible for maintenance and upkeep . Nisqually Meadows requires this to be the responsibility of its individual homeowners if on there property. If Individual homeowner chooses to remove and replace a street tree (for any reason). They may do so at their expense, but must be replaced with a tree from the approved list above. The City dose require a permit, this permit fee is often waived for replacement of unsafe, dead or dying trees. The HOA also requires an ACC request for removal and the homeowner is require it to be replace it.
