Dear Nisqually Meadows Residence,
Some of you might have noticed that the Board position for ACC Chairperson again remains unfilled. Unfortunately, the Homeowner who had volunteered decided that it wasn't the right fit for him and we respect that. Consequently, the Board would like to re-announce the vacancy on the Board for the position of ACC Chairperson. This is a full Director position and would be filled by a vote of the four remaining serving Board members in accordance with our By-Laws. The selected homeowner would serve out the remaining term of the ACC Chairperson (along with the other Board members) until the conclusion of the Annual Meeting in October 2023.
As we approach the season of better weather and ACC drive-arounds, Board Secretary Rob Mendel has volunteered to temporarily lead the drive-arounds, compliance enforcement, and review of architectural requests until a volunteer can be found to permanently fill the ACC Chairperson position. The initial drive-arounds will focus on holiday lights up past 30 days, bins being out of public view on non-collection days, past due Fall leaf clean-up, and parking of trailers and RVs beyond 3 days without an exception request.
The Board understands that this is not an easy position and requires dedication to fairly and consistently apply the rules of the association. It is, however, also a great opportunity for a homeowner to help the community and enhance the property values of the owners.
